These are not hiking maps, and are not intended for backcountry navigation. Use a more detailed topographic trail map, such as this one, from Trails Illustrated. (Be aware, unlike most TI maps, for some reason this map does not include milage markers. Very disappointing!)
A better map with the mileage markings is the hike734 map. This map was made by some dude who hiked every single one of the 734 miles of trail in the park. So it’s probably pretty accurate.
