Visiting Mesa Verde


Southwestern Colorado was once home to the Ancestral Puebloans. These ancient people built some incredibly beautiful structures high in the cliffs of several canyons. For some reason, they left and now you can tour their abandoned homes when visiting Mesa Verde National Park. Most of the cliff dwellings here require a ranger-led tour that takes you right through their living rooms and bedrooms.
