This is not your average park, and visiting Congaree means you’ll be heading into a swamp. You’ll likely want to have some advance knowledge of the park’s layout. There is absolutely nothing in the way of services out here, but the park is only 20 miles from Columbia, South Caroline, the state’s capitol.
