These are not hiking maps, and are not intended for backcountry navigation. Although trails may be shown on the official maps, they may not be completely accurate and certainly do not provide accurate directional analysis. For proper waterproof and tear-resistant trail maps, use a more detailed topographic productions, such as this one, from Sky Terrain. This is a detailed publication and includes mileages!
The standard Trails Illustrated, also offers a bundle to cover more ground. The Trails Illustrated maps have received some negative reviews for not including all trails. Be aware, this map does not include milages!
