This park is not an easy target. It’s out of the way, and it’s often bitterly cold. Visiting Voyageurs requires that you have a boat, or at least rent one. Yes, there are tours available from the Kabetogama area, but to truly enjoy this place, you’ll want your own craft, some time, and just a touch of the spirit of the French Canadian fur trappers for whom this park is named.
